Clarase Mika is the practice manager for Dr. Joerg Mika and the visiting physicians of The Mika Clinic. With over 20 years of experience in the health & wellness industry, she holds extensive knowledge in her field and has a strong commitment to supporting providers, partners, and patients.
Clarase earned a diploma in Veterinary Food Inspection Specialist, a Bachelor of Science in Management with a focus on food quality & hygiene management, and a Master of Health Administration from the United States Army Medical & Dental Activity Center and School & the University of Phoenix respectively. Clarase completed her national service as a US Army quality manager from 1997-2010. A highlight of her career was being Department of the Army selected to serve as a Warrior Transition Command Platoon Sergeant (Supervisory Transition Manager) at the former Walter Reed Army Medical Center. At Walter Reed, she managed the transition of the Army’s first surviving quadruple amputee. Clarase received an honorable discharge from the US Army and was blessed to be able to stay at home with her two daughters.
Both an effective leader and a team player, Clarase has mastered many roles in the medical office, from planning, project management of practice construction, facility licensing, and front desk reception to Medical Assistant to billing. Because of this wide range of positions, she is competent in performing in-office lab procedures, phlebotomy, plasma collection, administering medications and immunizations, as well as patient advocacy. As a practice manager, she has expanded her management knowledge to cover multiple specialties, including medical tourism, advanced healthcare administration, and referral management.
Clarase lives in Bad Kreuznach. In her free time, Clarase enjoys gathering with friends and family, traveling, gardening, hosting guests from around the world, and interior design.
